Return and Refund Policy
Our Policy
Due to the handcrafted and artisanal nature of our lacquerware products, we have a limited return policy to ensure the quality and integrity of our work.
Defective or Damaged Items
We accept returns or exchanges only for items that arrive defective or damaged during shipping.
If you receive a defective or damaged item, please contact us within 3 days of delivery with:
- Your order number
- Photos of the defective or damaged item
- A description of the issue
We will repair and refinish the piece, then return it to you,
Custom and Made-to-Order Items
Custom orders, bespoke commissions, and made-to-order items cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive defective or damaged.
Non-Returnable Items
We cannot accept returns or exchanges for:
- Change of mind or preference
- Color or finish variations inherent to handcrafted items
- Items not in their original condition
- Items that have been used or altered
Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed within 7-10 business days to your original payment method.
Shipping Costs
Return shipping costs for defective or damaged items will be covered by BOKUMONDOH.
For all other cases, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
